The method of general inflation is to add a trachea inside the forming vessel, which is connected to the air source via a solenoid valve. The size of the air volume and the length of the filling time are adjustable. Excessive aeration can blow the product up and cause jamming; too little aeration can no longer protect the product.


Since the packaging of expanded snack foods is to be inflated, it will inevitably require good and reliable sealing of the packaging bags. In order to achieve better sealing requirements, in addition to the use of heat-sealing packaging materials, the performance of the packaging machinery itself has also played a significant role. Firstly, the shaper and the sealer of the packaging machine are required to be easy to use, so that the bag can be formed smoothly and not pleated during sealing, because horizontal packing is one of the main reasons for the air leakage of the bag under the normal working conditions of the packaging machine. Secondly, the intersection of the horizontal seal and the vertical seal should pay special attention, because here is the transition between the two-layer film and the four-layer film. Here, materials of different thicknesses need to meet the sealing requirements in one seal of the transverse seal, which puts higher requirements on packaging equipment and packaging materials. In order to achieve this sealing requirement, the transverse seal of the packaging machine must have sufficient pressure and stable temperature.
